This Privacy Policy explains how Artem Prozorov ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the ParkSmart NYC mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide:
- Account information — when you sign up with email, or via Sign in with Apple or Google, we receive an email address and/or a unique account identifier, and your name (where provided).
- Profile information — display name, username/handle, profile photo, general neighborhood or ZIP code, and optional vehicle details (make, color, license plate) that you choose to add.
- User content — messages you post in neighborhood and building chats, community reports (e.g. open spots, enforcement, restrictions), photos you upload (including photos of parking signs you submit to the AI sign reader), and reactions.
- Support and feedback — information you send us through in-app feedback or by contacting us.
Information collected automatically:
- Location data — with your permission, we collect your device's precise or approximate location to show nearby spots, reports, and chats, and to let you post location-tagged content. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings; some features will not work without it.
- Device and usage data — basic technical information (such as device type, app version, and a push notification token) used to operate the App and deliver notifications you enable.
The App is currently free to use and does not process any payments. We do not collect payment card numbers.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to: create and manage your account; provide location-based features (spots, alerts, neighborhood and building chats); display your name and content to other users as part of the community features; analyze photos of parking signs you submit to the AI sign reader; send relevant notifications you enable; respond to support requests; maintain safety and prevent abuse; and operate, secure, and improve the App.
3. How Information Is Shared
- With other users — your display name, handle, profile photo, and the content you post are visible to other users of the community features. Your profile location is shown at a neighborhood/approximate level. However, location-tagged content you choose to share — such as parking reports and messages where you attach your location — may include precise coordinates and is visible to other users. You control whether your profile and vehicle are visible in your privacy settings.
- With service providers — we use Supabase to host our database, authentication, and file storage. We use Apple and Google to provide sign-in. We use Expo to deliver push notifications. When you use the AI parking-sign reader, the photos you submit are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, which processes them to analyze the sign and return a result. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.
- For legal reasons — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of users or the public.
- We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and associated profile data from within the App or by contacting us at [email protected]; we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal or security reasons.
5. Your Choices and Rights
You can edit or remove profile and vehicle information, adjust visibility in privacy settings, turn location and notifications on or off in your device settings, and request access to or deletion of your data by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable laws.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures (including encryption in transit and access controls) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.

These Terms govern your use of the ParkSmart NYC App provided by Artem Prozorov. By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by these Terms. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account.
2. The Service
ParkSmart NYC is a community platform where drivers share parking-related information — available spots, enforcement and restriction reports, neighborhood and building chats — and access tools such as an AI parking-sign reader and street-cleaning/alternate-side reminders.
The App provides community-sourced and informational content only. It does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or legality of any parking spot or information. You are solely responsible for verifying posted signs and local regulations before parking. We are not responsible for tickets, fines, towing, or any losses resulting from reliance on information in the App.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: post false, misleading, harassing, hateful, or unlawful content; impersonate others; buy, sell, auction, or otherwise monetize access to public on-street parking spaces through the App; scrape or abuse the service; interfere with its operation; or use it to violate any law. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the App as needed to operate the service. You are responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the right to post it.
5. Pricing and Subscriptions
The App is currently free to use. During our initial launch, early users receive access to all features as "Founding Members" at no cost.
We may introduce a paid "Pro" subscription in the future. If and when paid plans become available, the applicable price, billing terms, and any free trial will be clearly shown in the App at the time of purchase, and any paid subscription will be billed and managed through your Apple App Store account under Apple's standard terms. Except where required by law, payments would be non-refundable and handled by Apple under its policies.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Artem Prozorov and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it except as allowed by these Terms.
7. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Artem Prozorov will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any parking tickets, fines, towing, lost time, or other losses arising from your use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the service and its users.
10. Governing Law and Changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.

- Datos de ubicación — con tu permiso, recopilamos la ubicación precisa o aproximada de tu dispositivo para mostrar lugares, reportes y chats cercanos, y para permitirte publicar contenido con etiqueta de ubicación. Puedes desactivar el acceso a la ubicación en cualquier momento en los ajustes de tu dispositivo; algunas funciones no operarán sin él.

2. Cómo usamos la información
Usamos la información para: crear y administrar tu cuenta; ofrecer funciones basadas en ubicación (lugares, alertas, chats de vecindario y edificio); mostrar tu nombre y contenido a otros usuarios como parte de las funciones comunitarias; analizar las fotos de letreros de estacionamiento que envías al lector de letreros con IA; enviar notificaciones relevantes que actives; responder a solicitudes de soporte; mantener la seguridad y prevenir abusos; y operar, proteger y mejorar la App.
3. Cómo se comparte la información
- Con otros usuarios — tu nombre visible, nombre de usuario, foto de perfil y el contenido que publicas son visibles para otros usuarios de las funciones comunitarias. La ubicación de tu perfil se muestra a nivel de vecindario/aproximado. Sin embargo, el contenido con etiqueta de ubicación que decidas compartir —como reportes de estacionamiento y mensajes en los que adjuntas tu ubicación— puede incluir coordenadas precisas y es visible para otros usuarios. Tú controlas si tu perfil y vehículo son visibles en tus ajustes de privacidad.
